PS: I recently took a great bloke to the mall for 8 hours. We had a blast. We did play with his skills, so he could use them on the job. Funny thing though, he starting finding a few weeks later he needed his skills LESS, because he was showing up more. Most NLP trainers don’t give you this way…. I can. Mike (from the handshakedinduction.com video) and I made it safely into Austin, Texas yesterday afternoon.   It was a long day, with airplane delays, and cranky neighbors on the plane…

Of course we both did what we could to change that, and made their days better.

And our luggage got in about 1 AM… but that’s another story. 

It’s funny though, neither of us was upset, I guess that comes from years of play with The Scout Way, Tai Ji and just having something deeper going on that you are aware of.

Now for the big news….

Kenny G  dove in. 

Ken is my mate, one of my dearest friends, and just to keep it quick, about 3 years ago Kenny dove in, moved from Pennsylvania to Austin, and eventually got Carol and I to come out here.

Since Kenny dove in, his ripples got us to dive in, and we are down here NOW working on our move to Wimberley Texas.   (Which is a community of people who DOVE IN, nice folks who are changing the world.)

So last night, I’m outside with my 2 oldest clients and friends, smoking some Cubans, Drinking some Jamacians, and swopping indian and chinese stories.

Live is good, take a risk, dive in.

And get a mentor, AND a coach.   It will be the best decision you will ever make.

Sometimes you just have be like Joseph Hautman and give yourself the bird.

Joseph Hautman gave himself a duck. He was a 50 year old post-doc at the University of Pennsylvania, and NOT looking forward to what life had in store for him, like getting his professorship and applying for grants.

Joseph Hautman took a chance, he painted the winning stamp in the 1992 Federal Duck Stamp contest. Later he sold that piece of artwork for $12,000 and bent into painting full time.

So, are you going to give yourself the bird today? If not today when?

Let’s assume that “this” is all an illusion. Lot’s of enlightened folks say so. I’d tend to agree… with one stipulation.

“Let’s play full out. Let’s pick the illusion we play in here, and play full out. You can buy into the illusion you are victim, and you’ll probably become one. You can buy into the illusion that you can experience non stop miracles, with just a few tiny challenges, and you’ll have them.”

Let’s pick a game, and play full out.

Let’s play full out TODAY - Because this might just be the best darn amusement park ever, and a place to explore our spiritual potential and process.

Okay, I’ll say it once. Our culture glorifies suffering and sacrifice. And on some level, so do you.

Stop it. You don’t get a medal for suffering the most to have the least amount of fun.

Do something fun and smart, start a business… I love helping people start profitable businesses. Maybe you are aware of the fact I’ve taken most of the last month off? You could do the same thing. All you need is a little guts, and guidance, and a willingness to live with tons more fun!

Do something fun and daring, ask out a girl…. even if you have one, ask HER out. You might be pleasantly surprised.

Do something NOT YOU. Because no matter who you are… I guarantee somewhere in life you are letting your patterns stand in your way, and not having nearly as much fun as you can stand.

BTW, that’s the whole point of my Private Trainings and Wow Weekends…. to help you have tons more fun in life. It sort of has a direct effect on your results too.

So loosen up, lighten up, grab something to help you do that and commit to me and you to do one thing today…. that will blow your socks off.

Hey mate,

It was the tail end of last week when I committed to changing the lives of 1 million people in 2008. That’s a tall order.

It’s one that requires that I not only take action, but also that I have faith.

Because I can impact the lives of thousands, been there done that, google me.

But I’m gonna have to acknowledge that I need help to pull off helping a million people.

Here’s the key. Most of the time when we think of making change, we think small, like increasing sales by 10 or 20 percent, or losing 5 pounds a month.

Transforming the lives of a million people in 2008, that’s not small. Eliminating 1 million excuses requires that I think big, and accept help from God, the divine, the universe, maybe even YOU.

So tomorrow, I’ll post how listening to my gut, helped my mate Joe Vitale help me make this possible.

Until then, DIVE IN.

Live your life, make a decision to actually live your life, instead of treading water.

I have the perfect way for you to keep your resolutions (or get the results you want).

Of course you can read about becoming excuse free (click here), but here is something even faster….

Screw making New Years Resolutions. Make a promise to yourself instead.

Notice how that feels. A resolution, well we all know those aren’t going anywhere for the most part.

But a promise. Make a promise you will keep, and notice how that can show up in your body.

Promise yourself something better, not just losing weight, or stopping smoking, but give yourself a promise to change something on the inside.

Read a book that builds you up. Listen to a cd or watch a video that inspires you to have a life, and maybe help someone else to have one too.

And most importantly, take action on your promise, today.

Share it with someone, write it down, you deserve what you get, so make it something good.

He woke up my ex first…. got my number and… I’m really glad you called Scott! I promise to keep in touch, and see you in the next 3 months, because we both deserve it!

Dear Friends, Loved One’s, Colleagues, and FELLOW AMERICAN’S;

Remember when you were in elementary school and your teacher had you write, as a creative writing exercise, a paper on what you did over your Thanksgiving holiday?

For some of us, it was drudgery, and some of us enjoyed the stimulation of telling all about the traditions of our families, and how much fun it was not having to go to school and having play time with cousins and friends that we normally don’t get to see on a regular basis. This all occurred while the “adults” laughed, talked for hours, and celebrated exuberantly. Who wouldn’t? Because, they didn’t have to go to work and many had a much needed 4-day weekend and respite from the grind of having to make a living. Many travel far away from home to enjoy time with family, gluttonously over eat, take naps, and of course, watch football on television. It’s like living the American Dream right?

Now stop and think about this. What if all you were concerned about over Thanksgiving was having some sort of miracle happen so you and your loved and treasured wife of 37 years would not lose your home and get kicked to the curb and brushed under the rug of society? Would that change your perspective of what Thanksgiving is truly all about?
